Print Media - Inks for the graphic arts industry, the whole spectrum of printing

XSYS Sheetfed Offset Inks
The standard process inks are divided into the following groups:
Novastar® the duct-fresh all-round series. This colour strong all-round family,
is an ideal partner for universal use on all printing presses.
Novavit® the fast-setting series. Novavit® enables to comply even with short
deadlines because this process ink family is setting and thouroughly drying
particularly fast.
Novaboard® the rub-resistant series. The trump of this series is a maximum
rub-resistant combined with fast oxidative drying especially on critical
substrates like matt coated papers or board
Novagloss® the high-gloss series. This process series is making glossy
impressions without any extra expenses for coating.
Specialties such as Novaless® for waterless offset printing. Moreover special
series for an enlarged colour space, for packaging printing or for non-absorbent
printing materials.
In addition to process black inks that belong to the standard process colour
series, we offer also a most diversified line of special black inks.
XSYS Print Solutions sets special accents also with a wide variety of spot
colours, ranging from print-ready spot-colour inks to series of blending inks -
for mixing hues to colour samples up to professional colour matching with
respective software and hardware.
In addition to Pantone®- and HKS®-series printers will find highly-pigmented
blending inks (e.g. Novavit® Color-Mix). Special series like daylight
fluorescent, metallic, pearl-gloss and spot colours for printing on
non-absorbent substrates round out the spectrum of spot colours. The K+E®
sheetfed-offset line further includes inks for continuous and UV printing as
well as broad variety of Novaset® dispersion coatings and Novacoat® oil-based
varnishes and transparent coatings or printing additives. The product portfolio
is complemented by Hydrofast® fountain solutions for printing on presses of the
latest generation through to alcohol-free printing. These products express our
conviction that system solutions integrating ink and fountain solution are the
key to the optimization of the ink-water balance.
XSYS Heatset - Webking® Inks
As one of the leading suppliers of heatset printing inks with a wide and
perfectly matched range of products, XSYS Print Solutions are offering the right
product for every field of application.
The XSYS range for web heatset covers from standard process inks for LWC, SC and
newsprint through to special process inks and spot colours. Heatset varnishes
and fountain solutions complete the product range. Since our Webking® heatset
inks comply with ISO 2846-1, highly efficient operations fulfilling ISO 12647-2
are guaranteed.
XSYS Coldset Newspaper Inks
XSYS Print Solutions is one of the leading partners for newspaper printing.

with press manufacturers and papermakers provide the basics for customized
newspaper inks which take into account new trends in newspaper printing at an
early stage.
The range of XSYS inks for newspaper printing is well-known in the market under
the name Newsking® and includes black and process inks for use in systems with
overshot/undershot duct, no matter. To meet the various requirements regarding
colour intensity, setting speed and rub resistance, we offer various process

XSYS Publication Gravure
For publication gravure applications, XSYS Print Solutions offers a wide
spectrum of inks to suit diverse requirements such as regard paper or desired
effect (e.g. matt).
The main product characteristics as colour shade, colour strength, viscosity and
dilutability will be adjusted individually according to the customers
necessities'.
XSYS UV Curable Inks
Solvent-free inks which are cured by UV are among the most important innovations
in recent years. XSYS Print Solutions offers the following range of products:

XSYS UV Varnishes
Our range of UV products is completed by a broad line of UV varnishes.
XSYS Press Room Chemicals
Besides printing ink and paper, there are also other components that are
required or helpful in the production of a high-quality offset print. XSYS Print
Solutions designates these components as press room chemicals.
The press room chemicals comprise the fountain solution additives additives
which are indispensable for conventional offset printing as well as washing and
cleaning agents.
Heatset web-offset requires silicone emulsions which produce an enhanced slip
property on the paper web and an increased rub resistance of the printed object.
Widely used press room chemicals in sheetfed offset printing are printing
additives like pastes to adjust the ink consistency or additives with which the
drying behaviour of the printing ink can be influenced.
