Rheomix 825 ready-to-use plasticizing and water-repellent admixture is based on a unique, patented chemistry. Rheomix 825 admixture is specially formulated for both cost-efficient and aesthetically pleasing manufacture of concrete block, segmental retaining wall units, paving stones, and roofing tile. When added to such concrete mixtures, cement and pigment dispersion is enhanced and the concrete becomes integrally lubricated by Rheomix 825 admixture. This results in increased compressive and flexural strengths, faster production rates, and improved surface characteristics. By varying the dosage rate, additional properties such as efflorescence control and reduced absorption are achieved. Throughout its dosage range Rheomix 825 admixture significantly improves material flow, compaction, and extrusion characteristics, and maximizes the production rate at which dry-cast concrete products can be fabricated. Rheomix 825 admixture produces little to no swipe on the formed surfaces of manufactured concrete products.
