Concrete Admixtures
High-Range Water-Reducing
þ
Glenium® 3000 NS
Glenium
3000 NS ready-to-use high-range water-reducing admixture is a patented
new generation of admixture based on polycarboxylate chemistry. Glenium
3000 NS admixture is very effective in producing concretes with
different levels of workability including applications that require
self-consolidating or Rheodynamic® SCC properties.
Rheodynamic SCC is the premier level of self-consolidating concrete. It
is produced by using a Glenium high-range water-reducing admixture and a
Rheomac® VMA viscosity-modifying admixture to provide stability to a
concrete mixture. Glenium 3000 NS admixture meets ASTM C 494
requirements for Type A, water-reducing, and Type F, high-range
water-reducing, admixtures.
Features
Produces cohesive and non-segregating concrete mixtures
Reduced
water content for a given slump
Linear
water reduction throughout the recommended dosage range
Benefits
Lower
production cost due to faster placement, enhanced finishing and reduced
curing costs
Faster
setting times and strength development
Increases compressive strength and flexural strength performance at all
ages
Faster
turnover of forms due to accelerated early strength development

Glenium® 3030 NS
Glenium
3030 NS ready-to-use full-range water-reducing admixture is a patented
new generation of admixture based on polycarboxylate chemistry. Glenium
3030 NS admixture is very effective in producing concretes with
different levels of workability including applications that require the
use of Rheodynamic® self-consolidating concrete (SCC). Glenium 3030 NS
admixture meets ASTM C 494 requirements for Type A, water-reducing, and
Type F, high-range water-reducing, admixtures.
Features
Reduced
water content for a given slump
Dosage
flexibility for normal, mid and high-range water reduction
Produces cohesive and non-segregating concrete mixture
Increased compressive strength and flexural strength performance at all
ages
Providing faster setting times and strength development
Enhanced finishability and pumpability
Benefits
Providing economic benefits to the entire construction team through
higher productivity and reduced variable costs

Glenium® 3400NV
Glenium
3400 NV ready-to-use high-range water-reducing admixture is a patented
new generation of admixture based on polycarboxylate chemistry developed
specifically for the precast market. Glenium 3400 NV admixture is very
effective in producing concretes with different levels of workability
including applications that require self-consolidating concrete (SCC).
Glenium 3400 NV admixture is particularly effective in producing
concrete mixtures that provide longer "working time" for placement and
finishing operations, without compromising very high early strength
requirements. Glenium 3400 NV admixture meets ASTM C 494 requirements
for Type A, water-reducing, and Type F, high-range water-reducing,
admixtures.
Features
Maximum
dosage effectiveness for a given water reduction
Controlled rheology
Improved retention of slump and workability
Strength enhancement package
Benefits
Can be
used in a wide variety of concrete mixtures as a Type A or Type F
admixture
Extremely high early strength development
Improved finishability and surface appearance
May
reduce/eliminate need for vibration and heat curing
Improves overall production cost efficiencies
Increases productivity of precast operations
þ
Rheobuild® 1000
Rheobuild
1000 high-range, water-reducing admixture is formulated to produce
rheoplastic concrete. Rheoplastic concrete flows easily, maintaining
high plasticity for time periods longer than conventional
superplasticized concrete. Rheoplastic concrete has the low water-cementitious
materials ratio of no-slump concrete, providing excellent engineering
(hardened) properties. The slump-retention characteristics of
rheoplastic concrete permit the addition of Rheobuild 1000 admixture at
the batch plant. Rheobuild 1000 admixture meets ASTM C 494 requirements
for Type A, water-reducing, and Type F, high-range water-reducing,
admixtures.
